Reach South Africa is establishing a community project at Mida-School in the Eastern Cape. Having been provided with 12 PC’s and some printers, Mida-School is in the process of employing an ICT teacher to further develop the IT skills of the community the school serves. This will involve the use of this ICT equipment for school-based education and to provide evening classes for the local community in basic computing. Sponsors are being approached to provide communications facilities to allow the school to use the ICT suite for internet access.
